PROCESS FOR DECORATING ARTICLES MADE OF SYNTHETIC MATERIAL USING TEXTILE MATERIALS

Process for inserting a fabric in the pre-surface layers of articles made from synthetic material. The ornamental fabric piece is formed beforehand to suit various three-dimensional objects using the fabric's own properties, its original form and methods of preparation. The stages of production include: an initial coat of transparent synthetic material; the application of a synthetic resin coat to accommodate the ornamental piece; the insertion of the pre-formed textile fabric; the application of consecutive coats of transparent resin, followed by coloured or non-coloured opaque coats; the application of a composite reinforcing coat. The invention is used for the decoration of sanitary appliances and accessories, furniture, panels, safety and ornamental fittings and various articles.
