A training apparatus for neck muscles and/or lateral shoulder muscles has two cross-bars which are adjustable in respect of their height and width. The cross-bars are fixed on a supporting rail which, for its part, is arranged to be vertically adjustable on a perpendicular guide bar which terminates in a foot at its lower end.
