<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate the uncertainty of paper jamming and also to find a mistake in selecting the size of paper and the fault of exposure soon by driving all the paper conveying means at a higher 2nd speed at the time of detecting the tailing edge of the paper ejected from a fixing device so that the paper is rapidly ejected. CONSTITUTION:When a paper ejection detection means S1 detects that the leading edge of the paper is ejected from the fixing device, a first paper conveying means 25 is driven at a 1st speed equal to a paper conveying speed in a copying action part and the paper conveying means 26 and 27 are sequentially driven at the 1st speed with the movement of the leading edge of the paper. Thereafter, when the tailing edge of the paper is detected by the paper ejection detection means S1, the respective paper conveying means 25-27 are driven higher 2nd speed and the paper is rapidly conveyed at the 2nd speed to be ejected from an ejecting port. Then, the device is not limited to the length of the paper and the uncertainty of paper jamming caused by delay in ejecting the paper can be eliminated. And also the mistake in selecting the size of the paper and the fault of exposure can be quickly found and copying can be stopped.</p> |
