PURPOSE: To make it possible to shift a frequency band to a different band at a fixed rate by supplying a signal for omitting a sample value having a low degree of signal continuity loss of a sample value string to a reading means to correct the reading of the reading means. CONSTITUTION: An input sample value string of 1st sampling frequency is converted into a sample value string of 2nd sampling frequency by a sampling conversion part 10 and the converted sample value string is received while storing the string in a data storing means 12. The continuity of formed signals is evaluated, a signal for omitting a sample value having a low loss degree is applied from an omitting sample selecting means 18 to the reading means 16, and while correcting reading from the means 12, the reading from the means 12 by the means 16 is executed by the 1st sampling frequency. Consequently the signal frequency component of a voice or the like can be shifted to a different frequency band at a fixed rate without depending upon a personal difference or the like while holding an I/O data transfer rate. |
