When a predetermined level of relative movement between the lines (4) and the platform is reached, a brake device (11) is initiated and activated which acts on the lines. This device takes the form of a clamp arrangement (12, 13) comprising two rails arranged parallel to and movable to and from one another. Each rail has a track facing the lines. - In conjunction with the two rails functions a two arm system (14, 15) which when it moves in one direction causes the rails to move towards each other and clamp the lines. When it moves in the opposite direction, the rails are moved apart. First and second hook components (16, 17) are fitted to the clamp arrangement, holding it in an inactive position. A further device (20) can disengage the hook components, allowing the rails to clamp against the lines (4). |
