PURPOSE:To provide a secondary battery with a great charging/discharging capacity and a long charging/discharging cycle life by preparing an electroconductive material from oxidated polymer of aniline type compound which is processed with organic amin type compound, and by using this electroconductive material to the electrode of secondary battery. CONSTITUTION:An aniline type compound is allowed to react with acid, and further with an oxidating agent consisting of cupric compound and nitrile type compound, to form an oxidated polymer. An organic amin type compound is used as a reactive solvent as it is when it is in the form of liquid, while it is used with any solvent such as alcohols as the reactive solvent when in the form of sold, and thus reactions are carried out to obtain a reaction product having electroconductivity and unsoluble solvent. This electroconductive material is processed into a desired form to be used as at least either of positive and negative electrode. Thus this electroconductive material is substantially unsoluble to organic solvent and does not include water, that allows accomplshment of a secondary battery with high charging/discharging efficiency and long cycle life. |
