<p>PURPOSE:To smoothly dress a tip of a blade by interposing a mechanism for controlling the movement of a dressing member having an elastic grindstone between the dressing member and a supporting member for supporting the dressing member in such a manner that the dressing member may be moved toward and away from the tip of the blade. CONSTITUTION:A dressing cam mechanism 28 operates to approach a dressing member 27 supported by a supporting member (magnet stand) 15 to a tip (grindstone) 12 of a blade (inner peripheral blade) 10. Under the condition, an elastic grindstone 27f mounted on the dressing member 27 is brought into contact with the tip 12 of the blade 10, so as to dress the tip 12 of the blade 10 to be used for cutting of a semiconductor single crystal bar.</p> |
