PURPOSE:To enable image information displayed by a display means to be easily output in the form of printed characters by providing a supply means for supplying output information of a magnification/minification means directly to a printing means. CONSTITUTION:When a segmental image is displayed in the magnification mode on a CRT display unit 25, image information corresponding to a part in display is read from a page memory 22 and is supplied to a magnification/ minification circuit 23. In this circuit, said information is magnified or minified to the size corresponding to paper. Next, this magnified or minified image information is supplied to a printer 20 through a bus line (supply means) Bl and a printer I/F. The image information shown on the CRT display unit 25 is output in the form of characters by means of the printer 20. |
