<p>PURPOSE:To aim at improvement in structural strength by filling up a solid lubricant and a metallic fiber in a ring reinforcer rolled on with a metallic mesh in cylindrical form, compressing and molding them, and thereby forming a sealing body. CONSTITUTION:A metallic mesh is formed into steel form and, after being rolled on, it is compressed in the axial direction, forming a cylindrical ring reinforcer 1. A core 5, which held the ring reinforcer 1 on the outer circumferential surface, is inserted into a metal mold 4 provided with a through hole 2, and the reinforcer 1 is situated at the side of a small diametral part of a spherical zonining hollow part 3 of this metal mold 4. And, a solid lubricant and a mixture 6 of a metallic fiber and a phenol resin binding material are filled up in this hollow part 3 of the metal mold 4, compressing and molding them. This molding is heated and hardened and a sealing body is formed. With this constitution, strength at a tip of this sealing body is improvable.</p> |
