In order to test the interference immunity of apparatuses which are equipped with filters at the input, these apparatuses have a signal applied to them whose frequency can be tuned at a constant amplitude, and it is determined whether single or multiple signal changes occur over the tuning band, within the reflected signal. The occurrence of multiple signal changes indicates a defective filter.
