PURPOSE:To reduce installation space, and increase the stored energy, by arranging superconducting solenoid magnets inside superconducting toroidal magnets, and stacking a plurality of the magnet units in the axial direction. CONSTITUTION:Cylindrical type superconducting solenoid magnets 2 are arranged so as to be inscribed in the most inside periphery in the large radius direction of D-type superconducting toroidal magnets 1. The magnets 1 and the magnets 2 are connected in series, and a plurality of their units are stacked in the axial direction, which are operated as a storing equipment of superconducting energy by using a common exciting power supply 3. Therefore, from a space saving viewpoint, a plurality of energy storing equipment units are effectively arranged. Thereby, the installation space is reduced, and the stored energy is increased. |
