<p>A machine for spreading material, such as fertilizer, which machine comprises a frame (1), a hopper (5) and a drivable spreading member (12). The hopper (5) is provided with two or more doser apertures (22) which are separately closable to a greater or lesser extent for controlling the delivery of material to be delivered from the hopper (5) to one single spreading member (12). Equipment (54, 56, 57, 58) is provided around the spreading member (12) for controlling the distribution of material spread, during operation of the device, by the spreading member (12) through the intermediary of a quantity of light which intersects the area (55) comprising the material spread by the spreading member (12).</p> |
