To carry out a height correction or height adjustment subsequently with runners for extendable furniture components (14), owing to an insufficiently exact assembly of the guide rail or perhaps also on account of the furniture component (14) being misshapen, there is provided in the front region of the horizontal leg (4) of the running rail (1) carrying the furniture component (14) an adjusting screw (7) which is held, with free rotatability, positively on the horizontal leg (4) so that it is unable to move in its axial direction relative to said leg (4). By rotating this screw (7), which is fixedly mounted in relation to the running rail (1), the furniture component (14) can be raised relative to a reference plane (17) or slightly lowered relative to said reference plane (17). <IMAGE> |
