PURPOSE:To process the local neighboring picture area of an arbitrary form at the time of a time division processing by providing a storing means for storing inhibiting data and reading circuit for reading the inhibiting data and supplying to an arithmetic circuit. CONSTITUTION:In the storing means 30, the inhibiting data is previously stored correspondingly to the respective picture elements of the local neighboring picture area. Three multiplexers 14(14-0-14-2) follow an address generated by a counter 15 to read picture element data stored in three variable step number shift registers 13(13-0-13-2) by dividing to three times and supply respectively to the three corresponding arithmetic circuits 16(16-0-16-2). Thereby, since the three circuits 16 switch the validity and the invalidity of an output and operate for every one cycle based on the inhibiting data corresponding to the picture element data respectively supplied for every one cycle, the local neighboring picture area of the arbitrary form can be processed at the time of the time division processing. |
