PURPOSE:To form scorching continuously and automatically, by successively pressing two hot plates against the surface of hamburger being transported to form a scorching pattern. CONSTITUTION:Hamburgers 3 sent on a transportation track 1 are introduced into gaps between hot plates 5a and 5b and the transportation track 1 at scorching forming parts 4a and 4b, transported in a sandwiched state from the top and the bottom and scorching is formed as a pattern. At the first scorching forming part 4a, an uneven pattern in a longitudinal channel state is formed and at the second scorching forming part 4b, an uneven pattern in a lateral channel state is made. These patterns are combined to form a scorching pattern. By this method, scorching can be continuously and automatically made on the surface of food such as hamburger after heating and waste can be readily removed from a hot plate even if the waste is attached to the hot plate. |
