ALKYLAROMATIC HYDROCARBON DEHYDROGENATION PROCESS

The process consists of (a) contacting a reaction stream with a dehydrogenation catalyst to prodice a vapour phase effluent stream; (b) cooling by indirect heat exchange with the reaction stream; (c) compressing to below 1 atmos. absolute; (d) partially condensing; (e) sepg. into liquid and vapour phases; and (f) recovering the hydrocarbon introduced into the process stream in liq. phase.
