PURPOSE: To suppress the consumption of a current without reducing the quality of elevator services by making gentle the inclination of a speed command signal curve during acceleration with a heavy load or during reduction with a light load. CONSTITUTION: When a CPU 1 determines a heavy load, a signal indicating the heavy load is inputted through a converter 5 to a speed command signal generator 6. The speed command signal generator 6 outputs a speed command signal 6a. In this pattern, inclination during acceleration where a current consumption by an elevator is increased is made gentler than that during a normal time, and thus the current consumption is suppressed. Also, since inclination during reduction where a current consumption is small is steeper than that during the normal time, inter-floor traveling time is not changed, and the service quality of the elevator is not reduced. Further, when the CPU 1 determines a light load, as in the above case, the speed command signal 6a is outputted, inclination during reduction is made gentler than that during the normal time, and inclination during acceleration is made steeper than that during the normal time. |
