PURPOSE:To prevent heat insulating member from being influenced by the thermal deformation of a tank when liquid is stored, by closely charging the part between the heat insulting supporting members with the heat insulating blocks whose bottom surface is supported by a supporting structure and whose both side surfaces and top surface are covered by the thin heat insulating members having elasticity. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of supporting girders 014 are arranged at proper intervals in the longitudinal direction on a foundation, and a plurality of supporting beams 015 are installed at proper intervals in the lateral direction on this supporting girders 014. Each heat insulating supporting member 016 is loaded along the upper edge of each supporting beam 015. The part between the heat insulating supporting members 016 is filled with the heat insulating blocks 6 which are supported by the supporting structures and whose side surfaces and the top surface are closely covered by the heat insulating members 7 and 8 which are relatively thin and possess elasticity. |
