PURPOSE:To clearly form an image on a photosensitive medium and facilitate maintenance, by providing a first supporting part which is fixed to one end of a printing head and moves the head in vertical directions, and a second supporting part which is supported on the other end of the head with a play and moves the head in the vertical directions. CONSTITUTION:A printer comprises a lead 62 capable of being moved in the feeding direction of a recording paper 6, and the printer (thermal head) 1 is moved by rotating a screw 61 through rotating a motor (a). A lead 62a serving as a driving force-transmitting means is fixed to the thermal head 1, whereas a lead 62b is fixed to the head 1 with respect to the axial direction of a screw 61b but possesses some degree of free movement in the directions of arrows Z (lateral directions). Therefore, even where the screw 61b is not disposed in parallel to the screw 61b with high accuracy, a driving force can be transmitted by securely maintaining perpendicularity with respect to the screw 61a, without being affected by the screw 61b. |
