The invention relates to a support for panels especially for display panels of the type comprising an anchorage in the ground, one or more posts integral with this anchorage, horizontal crosspieces fixed onto the posts and bearing the panels, and mouldings carried by the panels. According to the invention, the posts 3, 4 are produced from a sectional rod 8 including a core 9 and two wings 10, 11, the core being equipped on at least one of its faces and at its centre with a housing 12 allowing the crosspieces 5 to be fixed onto the posts by clamping. <IMAGE>
