The method consists in taking a measurement of all of the driving parameters, such as: engine speed 11, position of the gear lever 10; position of the hands on the steering wheel 12; position of the indicator control 13; comparative position of the pedals, monitor/candidate 14; speed of the vehicle 15; distance between vehicles, braking distance, stop distance, acceleration distance 16; position of the wheels 17. These measurements are indicated on an optional visual display means MAF 20 and are subject to datum values. The information is processed so as to be recorded and mixed on a recording medium by the electronic processing of the signals 9 and the processing of the data 5. Cameras 6, 7, 8 complete the associated device as well as a control screen 4. The device is installed on board the vehicle and is removable. <IMAGE>
