<p>PURPOSE:To make detection and measurement highly accurate by bundling many extremely thin optical fibers so that base end surfaces and tip surfaces are arranged matching with each other one to one, projecting light in a spot on the base end surfaces, and projecting the light in a spot from the tip end surfaces. CONSTITUTION:A light guide 1 is formed by bundling many extremely thin optical fibers 11 so that the base end surfaces 7 and tip end surfaces 9 are arranged matching with each other one to one. The external diameter of the base end surface 7 can be set much larger than the diameter Di of the incidence spot, so even if the optical axis of the intense extremely small spot of laser light R shifts slightly from the center of the base end surface 7, the light is securely received and sent to the tip. Further, the light can be transmitted while the irradiation diameter D0 from the tip end surface 9 is held equal to the incident spot diameter Di, so intense light can be projected on an object 10 to be measured to a small irradiation diameter D0 and high-accuracy detection and measurement are performed.</p> |
