A planting receptacle (1) preferably exhibits a plant pot (2), an outer pot (3) which can be preferably releasibly coupled or latched thereto, and in particular a stand or saucer (4) which is connected thereto, with the result that a plant can be produced and cultivated in the plant pot (2) in a conventional manner and can then be sold inexpensively together with the matching outer pot. A further development, for which protection is claimed independently, consists in the fact that the planting receptacle exhibits a saucer (4). This may be provided, for example, in one piece with the latching element (6) and may hold all three parts of the planting receptacle (1), namely the plant pot (2), the outer pot (3) and the saucer (4), together, e.g. with the aid of latching elements (6), preferably with the aid of a central latching element. <IMAGE>
