PURPOSE:To prevent not only the toner component but also the carrier component of a two component type developer from attracted from a developer carrying member to an image carrier by adjusting an output from an image erasion means in a proper value according to the density of given original image information. CONSTITUTION:An original density detecting means, that is, a photosensor 30 is provided on a scanning mirror 3c side near a zoom lens 4 and on an optical path. The image erasion means is constituted of an image erasing lamp 7 and a frame erasing lamp 9. Moreover, an adjusting means for adjusting the light quantity of blank exposure radiated from the frame erasing lamp 9 based on an output signal from an image density reader 200, that is, an output adjusting device 210 is provided. Thus, not only the toner component but also the carrier component of the developer can be prevented from attracted from a developing sleeve 11a to a photosensitive body drum 5 in case of using the two component type developer having the toner and the carrier. |
