Metal container opening and pouring system - has pull-lip and pouring spout mechanism on top of lid

The container is e.g. for evaporated milk. It has a round lid fixed to a cylindrical metal container. A groove in the lid accommodates a rib with attached pull-lip. When lip is pulled a pouring spout is formed for the viscous liquid. The container (1) includes a cylindrical body (2) e.g. of tin sheet and folded-beaded lid (3) e.g. of Al. The lid (3) has a groove (4) and the pull -lip (6) is fixed with rivet (7) to lid strip (5). When the lid strip is removed from lid a pouring spout (8) is formed.
