<p>PURPOSE: To use small inserting force for supplying a current with a minimum voltage drop by differentiating the distance between finger springs in two lines on a female socket from the distance between the stages of a male plug to such a structure so as not to apply expansive force to sets of contacts at the same time during insertion. CONSTITUTION: A female socket 10 has a solid bar 12 made of highly conductive metal and finger springs 14, 16 as multi-pawl metal springs provided in two lines on both sides. The inside springs 14 is shorter than the outside spring 16. A male plug 30 has a knife-shaped circular end 32 and the first stage area 34 which is formed flat, ranging therefrom. An area 34 is sufficiently thick to be capable of being joined to the spring 14 of the socket 10 with a small insertion force. A shoulder 36 of the plug 30 ranges out to a second stage area 38 so as to be joined to the spring 16 with a small insertion force. In this way, small inserting force is used for supplying a current with the minimum voltage drop.</p> |
