The invention relates to a collapsible trolley with three or four castors. The castors are fastened to two opposite side walls so that they are tilted as the trolley is being collapsed. As a result, in the collapsed condition of the trolley they lie within the two planes which are formed by the bottom and the uppermost side wall. In a further development, a clothes-rail may be unfolded and can be brought into position even after the actual trolley basket has been filled.
