PURPOSE:To produce sintered compact having excellent compatibility to organism by using specified silicic acid ester, phosphorus compd. and Ca compd. as raw material component when the sintered compact is produced by sol-gel method with ceramic particle and metal alkoxide. CONSTITUTION:(A) the silicic acid ester of formula I, (B) the phosphorus compd. of formulae II-IV and (C) the Ca compd. of formula V are reacted with water in the presence of one or more kinds of the ceramic particle having different composition from the sintered compact obtd. from A-C components or different crystal phase deposited in the sintered compact, and gelatinized. The glass or glass ceramic composite sintered compact is obtd. by drying, forming and then sintering the gel. In these formulae, R1-R4 are H or CxHx-1(OC2H4)y (where x is 1-5 and y is 0-10), respectively, not all R1-R4 are H, n is 0-20, R5-R9 are H, 1-5C alkyl, phenyl or 7-10C aralkyl group, respectively, m is 0-10 and R10 is 1-5C alkyl group. |
