<p>MULTI-POSITION BED A multi-position bed for use in hospitals by persons who because of physical disability or age are unable to turn or move themselves in bed. The bed has a mattress platform with two side sections and a centre section. The side sections can be tilted relatively to the centre section to enable the person to be turned over on the bed. The invention lies in the particular method of connecting the side sections and the centre section and in the linkage and operating mechanism for effecting turning movement on the bed.</p> |
