<p>In a process for applying a non-metallic roller coating, in particular for press rollers for papermaking machines, on the body of a roller, a tension interlining (20, 31, 32) is applied to the body (10) or to a contact surface (12) of the body by mechanical pretensioning but without the formation of an adhesive bond with the body (10) or its contact surface (12). An adhesive bond is produced between the tension interlining (20, 31, 32) and the roller coating (40).</p> |
