PURPOSE:To quickly stop rotation, by using two push-pull circuits to give one motor forward-or-reverse-rotation-control, and by feeding brake current at the time of controlling forward rotation to apply a sudden brake. CONSTITUTION:So far as a motor controlling circuit is concerned, a first push- pull circuit is composed of transistors (Tr) Q1, Q2, and of Darlington-connected Tr Q3, Q4 and a Tr Q5, a second push-pull circuit is composed. To the intermediate point of the first and second push-pull circuits, a motor 1 is connected, and by a PLL circuit 2, the motor 1 is constant-speed-controlled. When a sudden brake is applied to the motor 1 during the forward rotation, then control signal CL is switched to be of a low level, and control signal CH is switched to be of a high level, respectively. As this result, the Tr Q1, Q5 are turned conductive, and in place of driving current I1, current I2 in the counter direction is fed to the motor 1, and a sudden brake is applied to the motor 1, and the stopping of rotation is quickly performed.
