PURPOSE:To improve operating efficiency by automatically remedying a winding unit with which resumption of winding is possible with only a yarn continuation command while running a cart and thereafter by automatically remedying a unit requiring yarn lead-out while stopping the cart. CONSTITUTION:When a winding unit 2 which has stopped with a display button of a display means 12 for displaying inability of yarn continuation projecting while a work cart 3 is running is detected with a display detection sensor 15, a control means 110 determines in what order of times the displayed number is, based on a signal from an address sensor 100. If it is 1st, the cart is not stopped, the display is reset with a yarn continuation command means 16, and yarn continuation action is forcibly resumed. If it is 2nd or more, the cart is stopped, the display is reset, yarn continuation action is forcibly resumed, and at the same time yarn is forcibly drawn out of a package 9 located on the unit 2 side by means of a beater means 32 located on the cart 3 side. In this way, operating efficiency of a winder can be improved.
