PURPOSE:To constitute the drive mechanism of treatment elements compact in performing tapping massage by the treatment elements, by utilizing eccentric members and connection links to rotate the eccentric members around the axis parallel to a main shaft and rotating a screw shaft to move the treatment elements in the axial direction of the main shaft. CONSTITUTION:A main shaft 1 is rotated to make it possible to allow treatment elements 5, 5 to perform 'kneading and rubbing' message operation and a rotary shaft 12 also used as eccentric members 7 is rotated to make it possible to allow the treatment elements 5, 5 to perform tapping massage operation and, by rotating a screw shaft 14, the interval between a pair of treatment elements can be changed and, further, by rotating a feed screw 25, the rotary shaft 12 is rotated around the axis of an auxiliary shaft 13 to make it possible to control the intensity of massage operation. Since the eccentric directions of both crank shafts 12a, 12b of the rotary shaft 12 being the eccentric members 7 are reverse by 180 deg., the tapping massage operations of the treatment elements are performed alternately.
