The appliance comprises a securing device 1 with a shaft 2 which extends through an insulation layer and with its front end section 3 is anchored in the building wall, and at least one mesh attachment 30 with a shaft 32 which has locking members 33, 34 for engaging with the securing device 1, and radially projecting mesh-holding members 31, the securing device being provided with a hole 9 for mounting the said mesh attachment. According to the invention, the securing device has an inner catch surface 14 which is arranged at right angles to the shaft 2 and at a distance from an end surface 10 facing away from the front end section 3, at least one guide surface 40, 41 extending from the end surface 10 to the catch surface 14, which guide surface 40, 41 slopes in towards the centre axis 5 of the shaft 2. The shaft 32 of the securing device is solid in order to withstand radial stresses. The locking member 33, 34 has a sloping guide surface 35, 36 corresponding to the inclination of the guide surface 40, 41 of the securing device 1 in order to cooperate with this in displacing the mesh attachment into the hole 9, the locking member 33, 34 being arranged to widen the wall section 44, 45 of the shaft 2 which is located radially outside the guide surface 40, 41 until the locking member 33, 34 reaches the position of engagement behind the catch surface 14. <IMAGE> |
