PURPOSE:To shorten dispersion time, to obtain a stable coating solution, to enhance sensitivity of a photosensitive body, and to retain potential stability even at the time of successive uses by using specified 2 kinds of pigments as an electric charge generating material. CONSTITUTION:The electrophotographic sensitive body is formed by laminating on a substrate a charge generating layer containing both of the pigment represented by formula I and a phthalocyanine type pigment, and a charge transfer layer. In formula I, each of A1 and A2 is a coupler residue having a phenolic OH group; R is H or an optionally substituted alkyl, such aralkyl, such aryl, or such acyl; and each of Ar1 and Ar2 is optionally substituted arylene. |
