PURPOSE:To point out a program error of a module being executed, by providing a means which detects that an area of a storing section, where another module is stored, is accessed while a processing section executes the program of an optional module. CONSTITUTION:If the output of a comparator circuit (upper limit) 15 becomes effective when a program error exists in, for example, a module #2 program 29 and a microinstruction is fetched from the area other than a module #2 program storing area 123, for example, a module #3 program storing area 124, writing in an address setting (upper limit) register 13 and address setting (lower limit) register 14 is made ineffective and the smallest-value address of the area 123 and presence of the program error are displayed through a displaying section 19. Therefore, when the program of another module is destructed due to a program error of the module to which the process is handed over and the operation of the destructed module becomes abnormal because the process is handed over to the destructed module, it can be pointed out that in the program of which module the program error exists.
