<p>PURPOSE:To prevent damage on a thermal head due to an overrecording pulse by providing a control circuit which presets a predetermined time for recording pulse at a recording drive circuit and starts/controls said drive circuit and an overrecording pulse prevention circuit. CONSTITUTION:The actuation of a recording drive circuit 4 by means of a control circuit 6 allows first a recording start signal (a) and a recording end signal (b) after a set recording time, to an overrecording pulse prevention circuit 3. The overrecording pulse prevention circuit 3 starts outputting of a recording pulse (c) by the entry of the recording end signal (b). In addition, when the outputting of the recording pulse (c) is started by the entry of the recording start signal (a) and the recording end signal (b) is not entered into the overrecording pulse prevention circuit 3 by faulty operation of the control circuit 6 or the recording device circuit 4 by disturbance or abnormal operation by a runaway program, the recording pulse (c) is ended after the time of a time constant to be determined by a resistor 8 and a capacitor 7.</p> |
