<p>NEW MATERIAL:A basic fibroblast cell growth factor for rat which is a polypeptide containing the compound of formula. USE:A remedy for wound and a preventive and remedy for thrombosis and arteriosclerosis. PREPARATION:For example, mRNA is collected from the brain of a rat by guanidine isothiocyanate method, etc., and a poly(A)RNA separated from the mRNA is purified by oligo-dT-cellulose column chromatography. A cDNA is produced by using the poly(A)RNA as a template and is bonded to a proper vector to obtain a cDNA library. The library is inserted into E.coli and a gene coding a basic fibroblast cell growth factor of rat is produced therefrom using a human basic fibroblast cell growth factor gene as a probe. A vector containing said gene is prepared, a host is transformed with the vector and the transformed host is cultured to obtain the objective basic fibroblast cell growth factor for rat.</p> |
