PURPOSE:To make it possible to obtain a battery of a thin type with excellent productivity by forming a paste layer on a masked collector body by blowing for application with compressed air the paste for the storage battery filled on a mesh belt. CONSTITUTION:Paste 3 for a storage battery filled on a mesh belt 1 is blown with compressed air and applied onto a collector body 8 to form a paste layer. The paste 3 can be very thinly applied depending on the thickness of the mesh belt 1 and the mesh number. Furthermore, the strength of the collector body 8 as an object of application is not necessary and the paste can be directly applied on the inside of a cell case 10. This makes it possible to manufacture a super-thin type storage battery with a high productivity. |
