The invention relates to suspension of a supporting hook so that it hangs into a vehicle body side which delimits a humid chamber, in the case of which the supporting hook can be partly inserted through a hooking-in aperture which is cut out of the body side and can be transferred, in the course of a backwardly directed feed movement while suspended, into a supporting position which grips from behind a hooking-in edge of the body side. In order to prevent the emergence of water through the hooking-in aperture, provision is made for a section, which is situated above the hooking-in edge, of the body side opposite the hooking-in edge to be offset in the direction of the depth of the humid chamber in such a way that water running down the humid chamber side of the body side above the hooking-in aperture is diverted downwards around the hooking-in edge and the suspended supporting hook.
