PURPOSE:To reduce an isolation loss enough to be negligible and to obtain a stable output by giving a moment to a rear end of a head slider by a leaf spring via a pivot. CONSTITUTION:The center of a slider surface part of a magnetic head 6 is provided on the inflow side of a disk against a position of the pivot 3 of a head arm 1, and an R/W gap is provided beyond the pivot 3 on the outflow side of the disk, whereas a prescribed space is provided between the magnetic head 6 and the pivot 3, and the leaf spring 5 is provided in this space in order to make the magnetic head 6 incline to the outflow side. By this method, even if the disk is rotated at high speed, the isolation loss due to floating will be extremely small, and then a stable following against a distortion of the disk on its inner circumferential side, etc., will be feasible, thus obtaining a uniform head output.
