PURPOSE:To reduce the scale of a time base control circuit by correcting the time base of a reproduced voice signal by the use of a reference clock signal, and obtaining a signal to control the rotation of a disk motor. CONSTITUTION:The reference clock signal (c) of a digital voice signal from a reference clock signal generator 9 is controlled by means of a reproduced horizontal synchronizing signal from an adding amplifier 17, a reference horizontal synchronizing signal, of the reproduced burst signal and the error component (b) against a reference burst signal. The signal (c) is inputted to a digital voice signal processing circuit 4, and used in reading the digital voice data stored in a 16K-bit RAM and in detecting the pulse width of a frame synchronizing signal. A speed control signal (e) and a phase control signal (f) from the processing circuit 4 are inputted in an amplifier 5 where they are added and amplified, and a resulting output is transmitted to a drive amplifier 6 to control the disk motor 7. The main control of the motor 7 is executed by means of the frame synchronizing signal of a reproduced digital voice signal, hence the fluctuation in the time base of the voice can be prevented.
