ACCELERATING CONDITION DETECTOR FOR INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE

PURPOSE:To detect transient accelerating condition quickly and accurately by detecting transient accelerating condition based on sampled information of acceleration and information of acceleration sampled predetermined time before aforementioned sampling time. CONSTITUTION:A microcomputor 60 samples throttle opening signals 7a outputted from a throttle opening sensor 7 with sampling period T1. Transient accelerating condition of an internal combustion engine is judged based on that throttle opening information and another throttle opening information sampled at a time point preceding from aforementioned sampling time by a time interval T2 which is longer than the sampling period T1, then an incremental acceleration trigger signal 7b is outputted corresponding to a judgement. Consequently, transient accelerating condition of an internal combustion engine can be detected quickly and accurately.
