PURPOSE:To improve an oscillating characteristic by making the shape of at least one outer lead different from that of other outer leads, and connecting/ fixing a electrode, lead out a piezoelectric vibrator outward and the outer lead of the different shape to facilitate the connection and fixing. CONSTITUTION:A semiconductor element chip 8 is placed on a die pad 7 of a lead frame and wire bonding connection is applied with a lead terminal 10 by an Au wire 9 and packaging is applied by using a transfer mold resin 13. The two outer leads 11, 12 at the outside of the transfer mold resin 13 are extended laternaly straightforward and the remaining 6 outer leads 10 are bent downward once and again bent laterally once more near the lower face of the transfer mold resin 13. Two lead wires 4 of the crystal vibrator 6 are welded to the two outer leads 11, 12 extended straightforward laterally to constitute the crystal oscillator.
