PURPOSE:To reduce cost, while simplifying the forming operation of a cured portion by a method in which while the end part of a FRP bar which is made into a fiber shape by melting, is cured with quickly curable resin, said end part is formed into a larger diameter than that of the FRP bar. CONSTITUTION:The FRP resin of the end of a FRP bar 1 is burned and the resin is frayed separately. The part of frayed fibers 2 is inserted into a jig 3, and quickly curable resin is caused to flow into the jig from an arrow direction, and then it is cured after about five minutes. The spherical cured portion 4 cured with the FRP fiber 2 is formed at the end of the FRP bar 1, and has larger diameter than that of the FRP bar 1. In another method, the end part of the FRP bar 1 is inserted into a box nut 5, and a spherical cured portion 4 is formed. The fiber 2 which is frayed separately by heating and burning the end of the FRP bar 1 is very tough, and ever when said fiber is cured in the jig 3 on the box nut 5 with the quickly curable resin in a short time, it keeps the toughness integrally with the quickly curable resin. |
