PURPOSE:To remove a vertical line disturbance without inducing the drop of the S/N of a regenerated picture by detecting the levels of plural signals, and interrupting the signal of one side circuitically, only in a phase in which the vertical line disturbance is generated. CONSTITUTION:A regenerated luminance signal 14 is inputted to a comparator 15, and is level-compared with a reference voltage 16. On the other hand, a regenerated color signal 17 is inputted to the comparator 18, and is level- compared with the reference voltage 19. The regenerated color signal 17 is processed by a color signal processing circuit 20, and comes to be a color signal output 21. Only when it is of a low luminance and a low color saturation, and in addition, in the phase of the vertical line disturbance, the output of an AND gate 25 comes to H-level, and outputs a switch pulse. A transistor 26 is driven by the said switch pulse, and the output color signal 21 is earthed through a capacitor 27 like an alternating current.
