PURPOSE:To perform high temp. sterization, by providing an ultraviolet ray irradiation source, an electric heater source, and a timer circuit to control the driving of a fan for stirring the air in the chamber together with a fan for sucking the air in the chamber and to control the opening degree of a ventilation hole, while whole of the above is encased in a chamber hermetically closable by a airtight door. CONSTITUTION:A utensil 13 to be sterilized is placed on a shelf 12 and a door 2 is closed to hermetically close the chamber part 3 of a main body 1 and, when a timer 16 is set to 30min-operation to close a power source switch 17, a current is supplied to a heater 7 and the chamber part 3 reaches about 150 deg.C to perform sterilizing action. A stirring fan 9 is driven to uniformize the heating state. An ultraviolet lamp 4 is also allowed to light to irradiate the chamber part 3 with ultraviolet rays. When 15min is elapsed, the supply of a current to the heater 7 is stopped and a cooling fan 8 is driven and low temp. air is sucked in the chamber part 3 from a suction hole 11 while the heated air is discharged to the outside from a discharge hole 10 and the temp. of the chamber part 3 falls to the almost atmospheric temp. after 30min. After 30min. is elapsed, the supply of a current to all of circuits is stopped.
