摘要 PURPOSE:To collect the optimum data relating to the cornea of an eyeball at every examinee, by providing a reference light source for irradiating the definite point on the cornea with reference light and a tracing light source for irradiating the arbitrary point on the cornea with tracing light and calculating angle data on the basis of the angle data of the reference light and tracing light obtained through an irradiation angle altering means. CONSTITUTION:The definite point P1 on the cornea 5a of an eyeball 5 is irradiated with reference light 7 and, for example, one arbitrary point Q1 on the cornea 5a is similarly irradiated with tracing light 8 made parallel to the reference light 7. The tracking light 8 allowed to irradiate one arbitrary point Q1 is altered on the polar coordinates centering around the arbitary point Q1 and an angle is adjusted so that both lights coincide at the fovea central is retinae 2 with each other. By this method, the angle data of the reference light 7 and the tracking light 8, for example, the angle psi formed in a vertical direction and the angle xsi formed in a horizontal direction are obtained. This angle data is collected with respect to a plurality of the arbitrary points Q2-Qn on the cornea 5a. From this, a way to correct lights so as to accurately condense parallel lights to one point is calculated. By this method, the automatic designing of a contact lens or glasses and the operating program of the cornea can be made easy.
