An authorisation call station (DH) comprises, in a protected circuit (CDH), a memory bis of authorisation data or aliases (a;) as well as a generator (13) of random integers (r;) and calculation means (11 and 12) suitable for executing respectively an operation of raising to an integral power modulo N and a multiplication modulo N, N being, for example, a prime number. There leaves the secret circuit (CDH) only a first quantity representing the transform of a random integer (r;) by the first operation or a second quantity representing either this random integer itself or the product of this random integer and the alias (a;) modulo N. This makes it possible to check the authorisation data, without knowing it.

|
