PURPOSE:To repair a surface scratch itself by coating a resin on the surface of an information recording disk and using a blade to make the resin coating flat and drying and solidifying the resin at normal temperature or through heating. CONSTITUTION:A repairing liquid is coated by a proper quantity depending on the degree of the flaw of an information recording disk 1 by using a dispenser 5. After the application of the repairing liquid, the information recording disk 1 is rotated while keeping the contact state with a blade 7 to absorb the repairing liquid coated in the projected state on the surface flaw 6 of the information recording disk 1 and to make it flat. After the flaw formed on the surface of the information recording disk 1 is buried by the repairing liquid, the information recording disk 1 is removed from the device and the repairing liquid is dried and solidified at room temperature or through heating. Thus, the surface flaw on the information recording disk itself is corrected.
